On October 17, 2026, at Noumatrouff in Mulhouse, Soom T arrives with her rapid flow, between spoken and sung delivery, nourished by hip-hop, reggae, and Glasgow’s sound-system culture. Comfortable on productions ranging from digital reggae to dub, including dancehall, and venturing into bass-music terrains, she alternates direct tracks with more melodic songs, without losing sight of what runs through her lyrics: the social, the political, the spiritual. Known for her solid connections with the European dub scene, notably through collaborations with Mungo’s Hi Fi or Disrupt, she arrives with this live-oriented energy, performing in MC mode on turntables or in a more song-oriented format.
Across from her, Joe Yorke brings a different color, warmer and more songwriter-oriented, rooted in rocksteady and dub but open to soul and folk. Having grown up on the street scenes in Wigan and Manchester, then on Moss Side’s sound-system scene before settling in Bristol, he develops a flexible voice and writing that relish airy arrangements, sometimes more experimental. Between British reggae culture and a very live approach, his set provides the natural link between classical harmonies and dub vibrations.
