Laurent Voulzy will be performing in concert on December 8, 2026 at the Casino Barrière Toulouse, for an evening that highlights this very personal blend of Anglo-Saxon pop and French chanson. A guitarist, songwriter and singer, he has forged his career against the grain, between sculpted melodies, refined vocal harmonies and arrangements often notably subtle.
In his repertoire are tracks that have become touchstones, from Rockollection to his great ballads, with a chorus that lingers in the mind without forcing itself. For a long time a writing and composing collaborator with Alain Souchon, Voulzy has also developed a distinct discography, capable of moving from soft rock to more atmospheric moods.
From Le Cœur grenadine to Belem, via Avril or Lys & Love, he navigates between pop nostalgia, airy textures and more unexpected references, sometimes medieval or spiritual. On stage, his songs take on another grandeur: supple grooves, intertwining backing vocals, and that calm, poised voice that links the eras without aiming for effect.
