La Rue Kétanou returns to the stage on January 20, 2027 at Le MeM in Rennes, with their distinctive blend of French chanson, collective spirit and street theatre. Since their beginnings in the mid-1990s, Florent Vintrigner, Olivier Leite and Mourad Musset have evolved as a trio of friends who recount everyday life, encounters, departures and returns, always with refrains designed to be sung together. Born on the street and honed through touring performances, the band has built its discography while preserving that direct energy, from 'En attendant les caravanes' to 'Y’a des cigales dans la fourmilière', then 'Ouvert à double tour' and 'À contresens'. In concert, they rely on proximity, vocal harmonies and stories that grab, with a love for simple words and songs that take on a new dimension once shared in the hall.
