On 8 April 2027, Cock Robin returns to the stage at Théâtre Galli in Sanary-sur-Mer, with a concert conceived as a retrospective of its 1985–1989 period. The band, born in San Francisco around Peter Kingsbery, built its identity on a highly melodic pop rock/new wave sound, driven by keyboards, guitars, and those choruses that linger in the memory.
This tour focuses on the first three albums, Cock Robin (1985), After Here Through Midland (1987), and First Love/Last Rites (1989), the period during which the band's best-known tracks took root. Expect to hear live The Promise You Made, When Your Heart Is Weak, Just Around the Corner, Thought You Were on My Side, or Worlds Apart: a string of tracks that has left a particularly strong mark on Europe, and France in particular, where Cock Robin has always maintained a loyal fan base.
