Kneecap arrives in Glasgow on December 9, 2026 at the OVO Hydro. The Belfast-based trio from West Belfast, led by Mo Chara, Moglaí Bap, and producer DJ Próvaí, has carved out a distinctive space with hard-hitting, in-your-face rap, often bilingual Gaelic and English, where dark humor and social commentary constantly rub up against each other.
Their writing draws on everyday life, local politics, street life, excesses, and the tensions inherited from Northern Ireland, without preaching. Kneecap toys with symbols, distorts, provokes, then disarms with self-deprecation, all carried by a direct energy and a storytelling style that grabs you quickly. On stage, it moves at the same pace: a raw presence, a punchy flow, and a sense of collective spirit that turns their stories into a shared moment.
