Tinie Tempah will perform live at The Academy in Dublin on 6 December 2026. Born Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu in London, he first made a name for himself in grime and UK rap in the mid-2000s, between mixtapes, Channel U videos and his early tracks crafted for the street as well as for sound systems. With the creation of Disturbing London, he later broadens his rap to more pop and electronic formats, without dropping the rapid flow and catchy choruses that have marked his career.
From Disc-Overy to Demonstration, then Youth, Tinie Tempah built a hybrid style where British hip-hop crosses with dance and electro, driven by productions designed for clubs as much as for radio. On stage, one can expect a set that moves between grime energy, big electronic builds and melodic hooks, reflecting an artist accustomed to large stages and collaborations that blur the boundaries between rap, pop and club culture.
