Boy Harsher continues its trajectory at the boundary of darkwave, industrial, and electro, with that dry, nocturnal blend that has become its signature. Carried by Jae Matthews’s voice, both direct and magnetic, the duo unfurls hypnotic synth lines and punchy rhythms, somewhere between minimal synth and EBM, crafted for the club as much as for the stage.
Formed by Jae Matthews and Augustus Muller, Boy Harsher has been building since its beginnings a tense, minimalist electronic sound that relies on repetition and impact rather than overload. Their tracks, nourished by a true culture of imagery and cinema, retain that post-industrial scent and that cold efficiency that has marked an entire wave of artists.
