Info
On September 2, 2026, Jackson Dean lands at The Opera House in Toronto, with his rough-edged American country, somewhere between country-rock, folk and Southern rock. Born in Maryland and based in Nashville after high school, he cut his teeth writing and touring, notably as the opening act for artists like Kane Brown, Jake Owen, or Brothers Osborne, before signing with Big Machine.
On stage, Dean highlights a deep, gravelly voice and songs that favor expansive tempos, refrains darker than smooth, and a very live energy. From the EP Jackson Dean to Greenbroke, he built a universe of wide-open spaces, escape and inner tensions, with tracks that marked his rise such as “Don’t Come Lookin’” or “Fearless (The Echo).” His subsequent albums, On the Back of My Dreams and Magnolia Sage, continue this line: dense, melodic contemporary country, built for the road and for the stage.
