On September 19, 2026, Yuri Buenaventura will be at L’Espace Ligéria in Montlouis-sur-Loire, to bring to life on stage what has animated him since his beginnings: a salsa nourished by Afro-Colombian and Caribbean heritages, as well as by his Parisian journey. Revealed in France by his cover of 'Ne me quitte pas', the Colombian singer returns with the momentum of his album Amame (2024), after six years without new material.
Conceived as an homage to New York Latin music, this project fuses pop melodies, more urban percussion, and horn lines that recall the heyday of clubs between Brooklyn and Harlem. Across about ten tracks written and composed by Buenaventura, the idea is clear: celebrate Latino figures who shaped salsa while keeping writing that is direct, carried by a team of musicians from the New York scene. An evening that promises a set blending classics and new tracks, led by a voice instantly recognizable.
