On August 28, 2026, Joe Goddard takes over Night Tales in London for an all-night set shaped by the same instinct that’s powered his work for years: making pop songwriting and club music meet in the middle. As a founding member of Hot Chip, he helped blur the lines between synth-pop, house and indie dance, with hooks that still feel made for big rooms and late nights.
Away from the band, Goddard’s side projects and solo releases show how wide his range is without losing that clean, emotional pulse. With The 2 Bears, he’s leaned into a more direct, bass-forward take on UK dance culture; with his own records, he moves between slow-burning house, disco edges and soulful electronic pop, often built around strong vocal moments.
