Info
Shamoon Ismail lands in London for his first live show on August 7, 2026, bringing with him the sonic identity that has set him apart in the Pakistani indie scene. Born in Islamabad, a multi-instrumentalist, he moves between writing in Punjabi (and occasionally Urdu) and a distinctive blend of R&B, hip hop, blues, chill rap, and retro-tinged pop. A way of circulating the codes: slow grooves, sung choruses, more spoken phrasing, and what he calls a modern “Punjabi blues.”
On stage, he should draw from the tracks that have built his international audience—Marijuana, Late Night, Rung, Magic, Cold World—while also including deeper cuts, in the spirit of his EPs Magic, Brown Sugar, or Cookie, and of his album Scars & Screws. A date conceived as a meeting point, between personal stories, South Asian culture, and live energy.
