Dea Matrona is the story of two Belfast musicians who first crossed paths as rivals before bonding on the street, busking. Mollie McGinn and Orláith Forsythe, singers and multi-instrumentalists, built their duo the old-fashioned way: lots of live, plenty of live, a raw, direct rock energy, and a distinctive way of blending styles without getting boxed in.
Driven by a true DIY culture, they did everything step by step, financing their releases and refining their sound through constant gigs. Their debut album, For Your Sins, released in 2024, marked a turning point and put them on the map, with strong radio play and notable shows up to the big stages. On March 9, 2027, they will bring this edgy and catchy rock to Hansa39 in Munich, with the on-stage chemistry born from performing live.
