On 28 September 2026, Dominic Miller brings his solo universe to Band on the Wall in Manchester. Known to many as Sting’s longtime guitarist and co-writer of “Shape of My Heart”, Miller has also built a deep personal catalogue across a dozen albums, shaped by a life between Buenos Aires, Boston and London. His writing stays melodic and precise, where jazz harmony, Latin pulse, folk textures and a touch of classical phrasing meet without forcing the blend.
On stage, he favours nuance over fireworks: fingerstyle lines that breathe, themes that unfold like scenes, and plenty of space for the band to move as one. Expect a set drawing from his ECM releases, including Vagabond and Absinthe, alongside fresh, jazz-leaning takes on familiar Sting and Police material such as “Fields of Gold”.
He’s joined by Nicolas Fiszman on bass, Ziv Ravitz on drums and Mike Lindup on piano and keyboards, a line-up built for tight interplay and subtle shifts in colour.
