HENGE arrives at Village Underground, London, on 20 March 2027, with its sci-fi universe and its "cosmic dross" tinkered at the junction of psyche, space rock, electro and a deliberately off-kilter pop. On stage, the quartet goes all in on the "not from here" persona: characters, mythology and physical energy, between repetitive trance and more experimental detours. It thumps, it grooves, and it shifts—from near-rave sequences to prog detours—without warning, propelled by a prominent bass, synths with clear lines, a motorik drumbeat and biting guitars.
With several albums to their name, HENGE is touring to promote Journey to Voltus B, a concept album that extends their intergalactic saga and pushes their appetite for formats and narratives even further. A date designed as a total show, where music and imagination advance together, not taking themselves too seriously, but with real sonic coherence and a live intensity that has earned their reputation.
