From southern Algeria, the Imarhan bring to the stage a personal vision of tichumaren, the Tuareg desert blues that here opens up to rock, Saharan funk, and more urban pulses. On November 3, 2026, at Locomotiv Club in Bologna they arrive with Essam, a new chapter that pushes their sound forward without cutting the thread with their roots: electric guitars in trance, choirs in Tamasheq, elastic grooves and a rhythmic approach that blends traditional percussion with pan-African accents.
In Essam ('lightning'), the stories and identity of the Tuareg people become living matter, threaded with psychedelic colors, touches of electronics and contemporary production. Live, this mix translates into a compact and physical set, where the hypnotic repetitions of the guitars meet synths and more modern dynamics, keeping memory, the road, and the future together.
