Fally Ipupa arrives in London on October 24, 2026 for a concert at The O2, delivering his signature blend of Congolese rumba, ndombolo and urban pop. Born in Kinshasa, he first cut his teeth in the city’s orchestras before making his mark in Koffi Olomidé’s Quartier Latin, as a singer and songwriter. As a solo artist, he began in the mid-2000s with a trajectory that linked the guitars of soukous to dancefloor-ready refrains. From Droit Chemin to Arsenal de Belles Mélodies and then Power Kosa Leka, he established a Lingala-based writing in which romantic ballads meet with more energetic tracks. From Tokooos, Control and up to Formule 7, he keeps pushing the Afro-urban axis further, mixing R&B, hip-hop influences and live energy, without losing that sense of rhythm that makes the crowd rise.
