We’ve seen Izïa shift from hard-edged trio rock to a more direct pop rock, without ever losing what defines her: a voice that can hit hard as well as crack. Album after album, she moved the center of gravity from her anxious beginnings to a more personal French-language writing, where the intimate takes center stage without apology. After La vitesse, notably propelled by 'Mon cœur', she returns to open a new chapter with 'Mieux que nous'. A song both taut and tender, first guided by guitar and then by piano, that tells of doubts and the relaunches of a love story put to the test. On stage, we find again this blend of physical presence and precision, this way of going straight to the text without smoothing over the edges. Izïa will perform live on February 5, 2027 at La Cartonnerie in Reims.
