Charlie Winston returns to the stage on December 5, 2026 at the Carré d’Argent in Pontchâteau for a solo concert, as close to his songs as possible. A British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Paris, he has developed a style at the crossroads of folk, rock, pop and soul, carried by a warm voice and a sense of rhythm that makes you move as much as you listen. Revealed to a wide public with Like a Hobo, he has since released a string of records and toured, keeping his taste for direct melodies and down-to-earth lyrics. On this date, he revisits the standout tracks from his repertoire, rearranging and reinventing them in more stripped-down versions, without losing the momentum that defines his signature. A set conceived as a face-to-face encounter: intimate in form, alive in energy, with his distinctive way of storytelling, improvising and letting the groove move between two chords.
