On February 4, 2027, at Klub STUDIO in Kraków, The Rasmus kicks off its 'Weirdo Tour'. Formed in Helsinki in the mid-1990s, the band has evolved its edgy rock from its early days toward a more melodic and darker sound, spanning alternative rock, pop rock, and touches of gothic. Around the instantly recognizable voice of Lauri Ylönen, The Rasmus alternates catchy riffs and choruses crafted for sing-along, with that sense of contrast that has marked their records, from Into to Dead Letters, and especially the classic In the Shadows.
Over the course of their albums, the sound has also opened to more electronic textures, without losing the live impact that built their reputation on European tours and beyond. Since 2022, Emilia Suhonen's guitar has joined the lineup, renewing the band's energy after Pauli Rantasalmi's departure. A date to rediscover this blend of dark pop and rock energy, live on stage, up close.
