Editors will perform at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on February 18, 2027 as part of the Europe Tour 2027. The Birmingham-based band broke through in the 2000s with a tight post-punk revival: dark guitars, nervy rhythms, and Tom Smith’s deep voice that makes every song instantly recognizable. Think of the early records The Back Room and An End Has a Start, where melancholy and drive sit side by side without frills.
In the years that followed, Editors widened their sound further. With more synths and electronic textures, the palette broadened without losing the tension. After lineup changes, the group continued to evolve toward atmospheric rock and dark pop, and live that translates into sets that shift between angular energy and big, floating choruses.
Since EBM, the electronic side has come more to the fore, with driving pulses and industrial accents that clash nicely with the classic Editors’ melancholy. In Amsterdam you can therefore expect a show that takes you through the whole arc: from raw guitar tracks to the more mechanical, danceable pieces.
