Sleaford Mods head to Warsaw on 1 November 2026 for a show at Klub Stodoła, presenting 'The Demise of Planet X'. Born in Nottingham around the singer and lyricist Jason Williamson, and then established as a duo in 2012 with producer Andrew Fearn, the project found its formula: harsh post-punk, tight spoken word and minimalist hip-hop, set over repetitive loops and dry basslines. Everything rests on economy of means and the precision of delivery, with that very local phrasing that fits everyday British life. On record, the group has earned its place through a string of releases where the lyrics always take the lead, from Austerity Dogs to Divide and Exit and then English Tapas, among others. In live performances, there is no traditional rock band: one voice, programming, and a front-and-center stage presence that places rhythm and words at the center, without detour.
