Alex Cameron arrives in Dublin on October 29, 2026 at The Button Factory, with his electronic pop that flirts with soft rock and a highly narrative songwriting. A former member of Seekae, the Australian quickly established, as a solo artist, a distinctive style built from understated synths, slow-to-mid tempos, and a deep voice at the forefront.
From Jumping the Shark to Forced Witness and Miami Memory, he strings together songs built like mini-scenes, populated with characters and first-person narratives, often anchored in a nightlife that’s somewhat bruised. More recently, Oxy Music (2022) pushes the needle toward softer textures and smoother synth-pop, without sacrificing attention to detail or the catchy choruses that linger in the mind. On stage, the energy also comes from the entourage, notably saxophonist Roy Molloy, a loyal ally who adds depth to these sung stories.
