Behind ROLE MODEL is Tucker Pillsbury, a Maine-born pop songwriter based in Los Angeles. After a stint in rap, he shifted toward more intimate writing from 2017, with tracks in indie pop/bedroom pop format: smooth melodies, minimalist arrangements, and lyrics that speak plainly about relationships that form and fall apart, solitude and mental health. EPs like Oh, How Perfect and Our Little Angel set the scene, before a first album Rx, which broadens the spectrum while preserving this confessional tone. More recently, Kansas Anymore (2024) pushes toward a more acoustic pop, with folk touches and a hint of country. ROLE MODEL will perform in concert at Forest National (Forest, Belgium) on February 15, 2027 for "Chuck On Tour".
Opening act, Keni Titus delivers her alt-pop that is both upfront and sensitive. Based in Los Angeles, she writes about the in-between of adolescence and adulthood, between confidence, doubts and dry humor, with a deliberately raw interpretation. After the EPs mud on my superstars and juliet, she confirmed her universe with AngelPink (2026), a debut album that preserves this direct way of telling feelings and the construction of self.
