Kaleo sets down his suitcases in Brussels on March 9, 2027 at Cirque Royal with his 'Way Down We Go Tour'. Formed near Reykjavik, the Icelandic quartet has built a sound at the crossroads of blues rock, folk and alternative rock, with a taste for contrasts: tense riffs on one side, acoustic breaths on the other. At the center is the voice of Jökull 'JJ Julius Son' Júlíusson, both raw and precise, which carries songs capable of shifting in a second from intimate to upfront. After a first album released in Iceland, Kaleo moved to the United States and refined this very 'roots' blend, nourished by American music, without losing its Nordic identity. From A/B to Surface Sounds, the band plays with dynamics, textures and a live energy that leaves room for silences as much as for crescendos. A date to rediscover their flagship tracks and their way of telling stories, bare and straight to the point.
