The Record Company heads to Ottawa to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Give It Back To You, the album that put the Los Angeles trio on the map of modern blues-rock. Driven by Chris Vos's raspy, soulful voice, the band (with Alex Stiff and Marc Cazorla) cultivates a direct, unfussy sound: catchy riffs, hard-driving drums, a full, rounded bass, and that blend of electric blues, roots rock, and soul that defines their signature.
On stage, they deliver a taut, organic live performance, with songs that breathe as much groove as urgency. This anniversary tour is an opportunity to delve back into the raw spirit of Give It Back To You, while showing how their writing has evolved since then, toward denser textures and soulful inflections.
