David Adedeji Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, arrives at Cabana in Toronto on August 2, 2026 for a live set tailor-made for the stage. Born in Atlanta and raised in Lagos, he rose to prominence in the early 2010s in the wake of contemporary Nigerian pop, with a distinctive way of blending Afrobeats, Afropop, R&B and hints of dancehall, always propelled by a supple voice and hooks that hit home.
From 'Dami Duro' to Omo Baba Olowo, and with Son of Mercy, Davido has built a discography conceived as a sequence of standout moments, spanning Lagos, London and Atlanta. His albums A Good Time, A Better Time, Timeless and 5ive confirm this international reach while keeping the West African pulse, letting in, depending on the track, shades of highlife, amapiano or urban pop.
