The Garden lands in Toronto on September 23, 2026, at the Phoenix Concert Theatre, with Ghost Mountain opening. Led by twins Wyatt and Fletcher Shears, the California duo have cultivated since 2011 a nervy blend of post-punk, garage, and electronic experimentation. Their trademark is short, angular, sometimes awkward tracks in which bass and drums snap cleanly, while synthetic textures and staccato vocals come together like a collage. After a DIY start, The Garden refined its universe on record, from The Life and Times of a Paperclip to Haha, and then on Mirror Might Steal Your Charm and Kiss My Super Bowl Ring, which push this hybrid aesthetic even further, between punk energy and twisted pop. On stage, it's instinctive, with abrupt tempo changes and constant tension, as if each track could derail in an instant. Ghost Mountain will open the show and set the scene.
