The Dillinger Escape Plan return to the stage for "Final Calculating Infinity Shows" on October 27, 2026 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Born in New Jersey in the late 1990s, the band left its mark on hardcore and metal by pushing mathcore to the bone: broken rhythms, unpredictable tempo changes, dissonances and surgical precision. Around guitarist Ben Weinman, their dense, fragmented writing established itself as early as Calculating Infinity (1999), before further widening the field with Irony Is a Dead Scene (alongside Mike Patton), and then records like Miss Machine or Ire Works, where pure violence rubs shoulders with more twisted detours, sometimes almost melodic.
As the opening act, Squid Pisser injects its dose of noisy hardcore and chaotic punk. Led by Tommy Meehan and Seth Carolina, the project leans into abrasion: screeching guitars, tight drums, battered vocals, and chaos kept in check, between noise rock and hardcore aggression.
