Formed in Bray, County Wicklow, the Irish quartet brings together Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry and Hannah Kelly: four childhood friends who channel that long-running bond into songs built on indie-rock melodies, gritty edges and alt-pop turns. Their writing leans into the messy stuff without dressing it up, touching on anxiety, early-adulthood contradictions and emotions left exposed. Onstage, the band plays with that constant push-and-pull between electric tension and quieter, vulnerable moments, switching from soft to abrasive in the same breath. After their 2025 debut mixtape Fall Back, and tracks like “Heavy” and “Caterpillar” that helped put them on the radar, Florence Road come to stretch that sound live, tight, direct, and driven by a strong group dynamic.
