Nuit parisienne à La Havane
When the purity of classical music meets the fire of Afro-Cuban jazz. Roberto Fonseca and Vincent Ségal stand out for their ability to transcend genres. They traverse world music. Roberto Fonseca began his career with the Buena Vista Social Club and has collaborated with Herbie Hancock, Ibrahim Maalouf, Fatoumata Diawara, and Damon Albarn. Vincent Segal, welcomed to Scène 55 in 2024, also performs with numerous artists: Cesária Évora, Vanessa Paradis, Ballaké Sissoko, and Matthieu Chedid. Both have been nominated for the Victoires de la Musique and the Grammy Awards.
With this new project "Nuit parisienne à La Havane", presented at Scène 55 on 28 November 2026 at 7:30 PM, the Cuban jazz pianist and the French cellist join forces for a concert blending Cuban and classical music, both refined and popular. It is a meeting oriented toward emotion and listening rather than showmanship.
