On October 31, 2026, Passi takes the stage at Victoire 2 in Saint-Jean-de-Védas in a live-band format. Born in Brazzaville and raised in Sarcelles, he is among those who helped shape French rap from the late 1980s: first with Ministère A.M.E.R., then by contributing to the momentum of Secteur Ä. Solo, he establishes a direct style, straddling street rap and social observation, with more sung refrains and Afro-inspired references, embraced early on by Les Tentations (1997), and then by a discography that spans the decades.
Producer and bridge-builder, Passi has also built bridges through his Issap Productions label, the Dis l’heure 2… compilations, and the Bisso Na Bisso venture, which links Francophone rap with Central African sounds. On stage, this story translates into a dense repertoire, mixing classics with newer tracks, conceived for live performance. In 2026, he supports the release of Bande Originale, a project that brings together several generations of French and African rap, and which he will promote in concert.
