Info

On 11 November 2026 at Roundhouse, London, Wasia Project bring their finely crafted chamber-pop to the stage. Formed in England by siblings Olivia Hardy (vocals, guitar) and William Gao (piano, vocals), the duo blend indie pop, jazz-pop touches and discreet electronic textures with a classical grounding. They first drew attention with the 2019 single Why Don’t U Love Me, then set their tone on the 2022 EP How Can I Pretend?. In 2023 came Petals on the Moon, My Lover Is Sleeping and Remember When, while Ur So Pretty featured on the second season of Heartstopper. Their 2024 EP Isotope extends the palette with piano-led melodies, supple vocals, brass colours and unhurried rhythms.

On stage, Wasia Project open up the duo format with a live band on drums, bass and horns, giving the songs a warm, organic contour without losing their intimate focus. Arrangements drift between alternative pop and light jazz, close harmonies sit over spacious piano lines, and the writing balances melodic clarity with subtle dynamics. A set built for listeners who like detail in the sound and emotion held just beneath the surface.
