Masego « Fix Your Face Tour »

Masego brings his saxophone-driven mix of R&B, jazz, hip-hop and trap to Berlin: on September 30, 2026, he will appear as part of the Fix Your Face Tour at the Uber Eats Music Hall. Born in Kingston as Micah Davis and partly raised in Virginia, the Jamaican-American musician has shaped his approach as TrapHouseJazz — a sound in which singing, rap lines, improvisation and urban rhythms effortlessly intertwine.

After early mixtapes, he followed up in 2015 with The Pink Polo (with Medasin) and in 2016 with Loose Thoughts, before 2017’s “Tadow” with FKJ — born from a spontaneous session — brought him wider attention. His debut album Lady Lady (2018) sharpened his songwriting between modern soul sensibility, silky grooves and pared-down production. This was followed by the EP project Studying Abroad (2020) and, in 2023, the self-titled album Masego.

Live, Masego moves effortlessly between microphone and saxophone, leaving room for solos and brief ventures into freer territory without losing the flow. Collaborations with SiR, Kehlani, Kaytranada, Yussef Dayes and Braxton Cook reflect his agility between neo-soul, contemporary jazz and alternative hip-hop — exactly what will define his set in Berlin.
