On March 20, 2027, at Théâtre La Coupole in Saint-Louis, Yael Naïm returns with what is characteristic of her: finely crafted songs where folk, pop and flashes of soul blend. Brought to public attention by “New Soul,” the Franco‑Israeli singer has since cultivated clear, luminous songwriting, carried by a supple voice and precise arrangements, often in dialogue with percussionist and producer David Donatien. On stage she alternates piano, guitar and vocal harmonies, lays down delicate loops and plays with silences and breaths to let intimate melodies unfold. From her beginnings on In a Man’s Womb to the standout tracks of the album Yael Naïm & David Donatien, and including She Was a Boy, her repertoire crosses languages and moods with the same melodic simplicity. A concert conceived for close, direct listening, to rediscover a songwriting craft that knows how to hold emotion in a single breath.
