Acid Arab

On 3 February 2027 at La Laiterie in Strasbourg, Acid Arab presents a live show where acid house meets repertoires and modes from the Arab world. Born in the Paris club scene and in the city’s diasporas, the collective makes drum machines, acid lines and synthetic textures converse with the voices, scales and rhythms of the Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean. On stage, the electronic framework is sculpted for the dancefloor and opens up to traditional timbres and guest singers, creating a natural back-and-forth between contemporary groove and musical heritage.

For more than ten years, Acid Arab has developed a hybrid approach—part club, part live—nourished by collaborations and exchanges. Their performance focuses on real cultural circulations rather than mere illustration, letting machines make motifs and rhythms from different traditions resonate. An urban and Mediterranean proposition, direct and physical, conceived for both dancing and listening, it comes fully into its own in concert.
