Info
The Belair Lip Bombs touch down at Village Underground, London, on September 3, 2026. From the coastal suburbs of Melbourne, the indie-rock four-piece — Maisie Everett (voice, guitar), Mike Bradvica (guitar), Jimmy Droughton (bass) and Daniel “Dev” Devlin (drums) — shape a sharp mix of quick-footed rhythms, warm fuzz guitars and vocal lines that hit straight on. They’ve honed that “yearn-core” balance across their debut LP Lush Life and their follow-up Again, released with Third Man Records.
On stage, the band leans into immediacy: lean arrangements, chiming guitars, a tight rhythm section, and Maisie’s clear, cathartic delivery. Newer cuts like Don’t Let Them Tell You (It’s Fair) carry a mid-tempo pulse and a no-nonsense message; Back Of My Hand drifts from an easy sway into crunchy, Weezer-style riffs; Hey You rides a looping synth for a brighter left turn; If You’ve Got The Time brings their love of live-in-the-room interplay to the front. Expect older staples too — Gimme Gimme, World Is The One, Out Of Here — bridging their DIY beginnings at Frankston’s Singing Bird Studio with a sound widened in the studio alongside Nao Anzai and Joe White.
A night of tight hooks, unvarnished energy and melodies that linger, carried by four friends who write together, trust their gut, and play like it.
