Strawberry Guy

Saturday 10 October 2026, Strawberry Guy — the solo project of Alexander Morgan Stephens — comes to Circolo Arci Bellezza in Milan. Born in Caernarfon and now based in Liverpool after attending the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, he began as the keyboardist for the Orielles before going solo in 2018. His songwriting blends bedroom pop, dream pop and a light psychedelia: forward vocals, soft keyboards, unhurried melodies and a restrained production.

In 2019 he released the EP Taking My Time to Be, which yielded the track "Mrs Magic," a song that circulated online for a long time before finding a wider audience, including on TikTok. With his debut album Sun Outside My Window (2021) he pursued a lo-fi aesthetic of airy harmonies and songs built around the piano. In 2023 he revisited "F Song" and "Mrs Magic" in string versions, underscoring his attention to arrangement and detail.
