Sam Sauvage

Sam Sauvage will be at the Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne on March 4, 2027. A self-taught singer-songwriter from the north, he crafts alternative pop nourished by ’80s rock, new wave and vividly visual songwriting. One can sense the shadow of Bashung, the rhythmic drive of Talking Heads and a storytelling instinct reminiscent of Stromae, resulting in songs that flirt with melancholy without losing their energy. His inhabited voice sits atop retro-contemporary productions—angular guitars, supple basslines and vintage-tinged synths—in a blend that aims as much for the body as for the mind.

On stage, Sam thickens his arrangements and works with contrasts: electric tensions, abrupt breaks, spoken passages that introduce an almost theatrical dimension. Revealed by an initial EP, he sharpens a direct, modern pen in which the personal collides with the collective. At the Bikini he will present this repertoire live, with a punchy groove and spacious arrangements, offering a journey in which each track finds its own dramaturgy—between a dancing pulse, pop angles and bursts of contemporary poetry.
