Formed in Manchester in 2008, Wu Lyf is a British rock quartet that established itself as one of the most intriguing projects of its generation before disbanding in 2012, its members going on to pursue other musical ventures. Fifteen years after that split, the band rose from the ashes in 2025, even surprising themselves with the strength of their rediscovered chemistry.
In April, a first single heralded their return, soon followed by a second album, A Wave That Will Never Break, crafted in collaboration with Sonic Boom. Galloping guitars and anthems to both love and bitterness intertwine in a carefully crafted heavy pop, promising marathon-length shows with euphoric effect.
