Get The Shot

On November 8, 2026 at La Laiterie in Strasbourg, Get The Shot arrives from Québec with '90s-fueled hardcore, forged by thrash and death metal and anchored by a massive beatdown. Carried by five musicians who favor candor and abrasion, the band channels a very contemporary anger into direct songs, razor-sharp riffs, hurried tempos and pounding breaks. Heirs to a hardcore tradition like Strife or Ringworm, and marked by Hatebreed, Obituary and Slayer, they have sculpted a tight, dark, unvarnished sound designed for the stage.

Honed by years on the road, from self-managed squats to international festivals, they play without showmanship, with a collective dynamic that is as much cathartic as it is physically impactful. Their album Infinite Punishment represented an important step — tenser and more oppressive — which they now extend live with a deliberate crossing of thrash velocity and an almost death-metal weight. No posturing or artifice, just the urgency and sincerity of a band for whom integrity is a guiding principle.
