Spite and Emmure land in Leeds on 29 January 2027 at Stylus for a double bill tailored for down‑tuned riffs, syncopated grooves and razor‑sharp breakdowns. Two schools of a direct sound that crosses metalcore, deathcore and nu‑metal echoes, driven by front‑and‑center vocals and massive guitars.
Emmure, formed in 2003 around Frankie Palmeri, blends a metalcore backbone with repetitive structures, dissonance and a sense of rhythm borrowed from hip‑hop. The band draws equally from its rawer early days and the period when electronic textures and a nu‑metal touch emerged — from Look at Yourself to Hindsight — alternating highly percussive mosh sections with colder, tenser moments.
Active since 2014, Spite delivers a Californian deathcore dynamism fronted by Darius Tehrani. From early recordings to the albums The Root of All Evil and Dedication to Flesh, the band has honed a compact songwriting style built on staccato riffs, clean stops and hardcore energy.
Together on stage, Emmure and Spite forge a bridge between contemporary deathcore and the nu‑metal legacy, with sets designed for rhythmic impact and density.
