Since 2006, Argentine producer and DJ Pedro Canale, performing as Chancha Via Circuito, has cultivated a distinctive language in which digital cumbia intersects with minimal electronica, dub and Afro‑Latin pulses. Emerging from the Buenos Aires scene associated with ZZK Records, his sound slows the BPM to make room for atmospheric textures, voices and percussion that evoke Andean, Amazonian and Río de la Plata repertoires. On albums such as Río Arriba, Amansara and Bienaventuranza, he has honed a trajectory between club culture and popular tradition. In Lisbon, on 18 June 2026, at Casa Capitão, he celebrates 20 years of his career with a line‑up that revisits those two decades of rhythmic research.
The night also welcomes Ritmos Cholulteka, the alter ego of Luso‑Mexican DJ and photographer Bruno Sin Más. Based in Lisbon, he weaves sets of cumbia and tropical music that converse with Balkan beats, African echoes and electronica conceived for the dancefloor. Between popular heritage and pre‑Hispanic references, his crossovers keep the energy high and underline the thread that links Latin American tradition and contemporary club formats.
