Hatebreed brings the Summer Slaughter Tour 2026 to Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg on August 31, 2026. Formed in Bridgeport in 1994, the band grew out of the American hardcore scene and pushed into a dense metalcore that blends thrash‑tinged riffs, blunt grooves and shouted, rallying vocals led by Jamey Jasta. On stage, they keep it direct: compact songs, unison breakdowns and a pace built for movement.
The set draws across their catalogue, from the early strike of Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire and the drive of Perseverance and The Rise of Brutality, through Supremacy and the self‑titled record, to later chapters like The Divinity of Purpose, The Concrete Confessional and Weight of the False Self. Lineup shifts over time haven’t moved the center: concise writing, heavy guitars and a constant crossover between hardcore urgency and metal weight. A straight-ahead show anchored in rhythm, impact and call‑and‑response energy.
