The Script bring The Man In The Arena Tour home to Dublin on 30 October 2026 at 3Arena, Dublin. Formed in 2001, the band blends pop rock hooks with soul-leaning songwriting, led by Danny O’Donoghue with drummer Glen Power. After the passing of guitarist Mark Sheehan in 2023, the group continues with Benjamin Sargeant and Ben Weaver joining the lineup. On stage, they move across early cuts and arena-ready choruses from The Script (2008) and Science & Faith to #3’s Hall of Fame, through No Sound Without Silence, Freedom Child and Sunsets & Full Moons, up to the 2024 album Satellites. Rock ballads, mid-tempo grooves and tight, melodic refrains shape a set built for a room like the 3Arena.
Also on the bill, UK singer James Morrison brings a raspy soul-pop rooted in acoustic guitar and piano. Emerging in the mid-2000s, he shifted from the intimate Undiscovered (2006) to the more produced pop-soul of Songs for You, Truths for Me, then The Awakening, Higher Than Here and You’re Stronger Than You Know. Between folk-tinged ballads and R&B-coloured rhythms, his songs favour direct melodies and a warm grain that sits naturally alongside The Script’s pop-rock palette.
