Info
On 2 October 2026 at KOKO in London, Trash Boat bring their sharp blend of pop punk, melodic hardcore and post-hardcore to the stage. Formed in St Albans in the mid-2010s, the band cut its teeth with the EPs Look Alive (2014) and Brainwork (2015) before signing to Hopeless Records and moving quickly from club shows to festival slots at Slam Dunk and Reading & Leeds, plus support runs with New Found Glory and Beartooth. Their debut album, Nothing I Write You Can Change What You’ve Been Through (2016), set the tone with direct songwriting that swings from melodic hooks to abrasive bursts, featuring Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years on Strangers.
Crown Shyness (2018) broadened the palette toward denser punk rock, while Don’t You Feel Amazing? (2021) pushed further into post-hardcore territory. On Heaven Can Wait (2024), the band leaned into alternative textures and heavier guitars without losing their knack for punchy refrains. Led by Tobi Duncan’s rasp and a rhythm section built for sudden dynamic shifts, Trash Boat move fluently between punk, emo and modern hardcore. Live, that mix turns into tight, high-energy cuts that balance skate-punk speed with weightier, newer tracks and big, shout-along choruses—an honest snapshot of where the band is now.
