Seth Gueko

On 12 February 2027, L’Autre Canal in Nancy welcomes Seth Gueko. Born in Pontoise, the rapper has shaped his “barlou” persona — a blend of street smarts and blunt candor — and developed a rap style that contorts language on every level. Slang, verlan, louchebem, Manouche expressions and pop-culture nods make up his toolbox, carried by a deep voice and an unabashed taste for dry one-liners.

On stage, the “Professeur Punchline” unfolds an urban tale where provocation and irony coexist, between the streetwise Parisian “titi” and a cinematic mug, with a tattooed mythology and Kustom Kulture imagery running through his world.

To his credit are milestones such as Michto, Bad Cowboy, La Chevalière and Destroy, and recent releases that continue the Titi Parisien thread (vol. 2, vol. 3 and its extension), not to mention Riposter with Lacrim. In 2026 he announced a return to basics: direct, in-your-face rap, crisp punchlines, raw flow. In Nancy, he comes to defend that line, up close to those who follow the barlou adventure.
