Blowsom

Arnaud Bernard, aka Blowsom, was raised on the Beatles, whom he listened to on repeat with his family in the car. At eight, he tuned his first guitar, but his teacher ended up in prison, and Arnaud ultimately taught himself. Blowsom will perform on 13 November 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Big Band Café.

His passion became evident at 18 when he decided to go study music in Brighton, England, to follow in the footsteps of a band he adores, the Kooks. There, as he discovered music production software (DAW), Arnaud became Blowsom. At the time, it was on SoundCloud that he shared his music, oriented toward electronic sounds. Despite interest from the media and a few labels, he returned to a more pop style tinged with rock, like the bands he loves.

Back in France, Blowsom revealed himself through a few tracks collected on his first full-length, "OK Romance!", recorded in English. After this critical success, he took a liking to the process and, soon, felt the need to reconnect with his native language.

He then found a new breath in French, and his songs, which he began releasing in 2025, took on a different dimension, as exemplified by his track "Les Passantes".

Over an indie-pop framework with rock accents and catchy melodies, Blowsom speaks unflinchingly about his past relationships, the difficulty of falling in love again and fragile hopes. He paints a portrait of a generation whose romantic patience seems to be eroding, where immediacy takes precedence over commitment.
