Ghostly Kisses

Ghostly Kisses, the project of Québécoise Margaux Sauvé with composer Louis‑Étienne Santais, will be at the Trabendo on November 5, 2026. Straddling dream pop, indie pop and hushed electronics, the duo creates nocturnal atmospheres in which Sauvé’s airy voice rests on pared-down arrangements. Trained as a violinist, she has been composing intimate pieces since the mid-2010s, while Santais weaves pianos, synths and ambient textures in a songwriting approach that favors restraint and nuance.

On stage, Ghostly Kisses draws from its formative EPs and the albums Heaven, Wait and Darkroom to build a set conceived as a seamless journey. The songs move in small pulses, allow silence to breathe, and then open into broader washes. You encounter diaphanous melodies, discreet beats and harmonies that take their time to settle. Without excess, the duo relies on detail and rapport—between piano, synths and voice—for a live performance focused on the essentials: the song and its texture, and emotion up close.
