Info
On 29 October 2026 at Vicar Street in Dublin, Gurriers bring their taut post-punk to the stage. The Dublin five-piece shapes a lean, wired sound where art-punk angles rub against noise-rock textures. Guitars scrape and jab, the rhythm section stays tight and pressurized, and the vocal line moves between direct attack, urgency and a cooler detachment. Their writing circles around everyday unease, normalized violence, social cracks and political contradictions, keeping the language concise and slightly caustic.
Raised on independent stages at home and across the UK, the band built its identity through short, no-frills singles before releasing Come and See in 2024. That debut widened the frame without smoothing the edges, and live the songs gain in tension and detail. Setlists fold early tracks into newer material, playing on sharp breaks, controlled surge and brief slips into disorder. Gurriers perform with a focus on pulse and space rather than gloss, pushing the room with repetition, close-knit dynamics and a sound that stays raw but precise.
