Gurriers

Gurriers bring their sharpened post-punk to Electric Brixton, London, on 24 October 2026. Formed in Dublin, the five-piece work a tense, art-punk and noise-leaning sound: serrated guitars, tight basslines and drums that keep everything on a wire. The vocal delivery flips between urgency and detachment, cutting through songs that point to urban pressure, casual violence and political contradictions without ornament. Live, the band plays close to the edge, letting repetition crank up the pressure before snapping it, favouring dynamics that hit hard rather than retro poses. Their debut album, Come and See (2024), set the tone: concise writing, dry impact, and a feel for friction that carries into their current set.
